Today I went for a little trip to Cowes, on the I.O.W, with a friend of mine.
We were celebrating the end of term and went to our usual spot for a drink but first we bought some delicious, juicy strawberries and ate them on the beach before wandering around some cute streets admiring the beautiful houses.
My lovely friend, Julia. Yes, she is a blogger and you should visit her fashion/food/life blog here:
We both took a refreshing cocktail (minus the alcohol). I had a berry one - it had little bits of fruit, ice and flavour in it...So yummy! Julia took a lemon, raspberry and basil one, they came in cute jam jars.
The interiors of this place are soooo nice. The front of the café is quite family friendly and light, then as you walk to the back its a cool combination of modern décor and rustic interiors. The benches are made of pallets, EVERYTHING is locally sourced (from the island) and prices are not bad at all. Check out the website here:
In the town there is this large painting on a wall, it's really impressive and arty
How breathtakingly beautiful ^
